OUR FEES AND APPOINTMENT POLICY

We only handle serious felony cases where the client is possibly facing years in prison.
We offer a free initial telephone consultation to give you our initial impression of the case, and
our best estimate of our fees. If after that consultation you believe that you may wish to hire us
we will then schedule an in person consultation. Due to the fact that any consultation with a
potential new client takes away time we could spend working on a current client’s case and we
simply do not have time to invest in appointments who do not show up, and because during our
consultations we will give you valuable opinions about how to defend your case we charge a
$500.00 consultation fee for the initial in person consultation. If you chose to hire us after the
initial in person consultation that $500.00 fee is applied to the total fee.

Due to the fact that we only handle very serious offenses our fees are significant and usually
range from $10,000.00 to $100,000.00 dollars depending on the exact charge, the complexity of
the case, and whether the case is located in State or Federal Court and in what location of the
State the case is located.

Once we are hired fees are set on a flat rate basis meaning that we do not bill hourly. Once the
fee is set the fee will not go up or down regardless of how many hours we spend on the case,
however, the total fee is required at the time of our hiring. This provides you with the security
and knowledge that your bill is paid and it will not get to a point that you can no longer afford
legal representation.
